Dulaimi discuss security file with chieftains of Anbar province

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Acting Minister of Defense Sadoun al-Dulaimi discussed with chieftains and dignitaries of Anbar province the security file in the province.

A statement by the Ministry of Defense received by IraqiNews.com cited “Acting Defense Minister Sadoun al-Dulaimi, in response to instructions from the Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, met on Saturday a number of Anbar chieftains and dignitaries.”

“The meeting witnessed discussions over the security file in the province and means of eliminating activities of the Qaeda,” the source added, noting that “The chieftains and dignitaries of Anbar province expressed their readiness to cooperate with the Central Government to chase the Qaeda elements from Anbar.”
