Urgent – 43 deaths, injuries from Tikrit armed clashes

Salah-il-Din, Tikrit (IraqiNews.com) About 43 Iraqi security forces were killed or wounded within the armed clashes that waged at the social welfare building in Salah-il-Din province.

Security source reported to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) ”The armed clashed, which were waged between gunmen stormed the social welfare building and security forces, resulted in killing 15 security elements and wounding 28 others.”

”The ambulances rushed to the incident place transporting the dead bodies to the morgue and the wounded to the hospital for treatment,” the source added.A group of gunmen and suicide bombers stormed the social welfare building in Tikrit city detaining more than 38 persons, including security forces and civilians, the police forces evacuated the building due to the armed clashes.
