Yawar warns from including Tuz Khormatu district to Kirkuk province

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Justice and Reformation Movement, Abdullah Ajeel al-Yawar, warned from including Tuz Khormatu, district to Kirkuk province.

Earlier, the Deputy Chairman of Kirkuk PC, Ribawar Talabani, stated in a press conference on Tuesday “Kirkuk PC, during its weekly meeting, supported joining Tuz Khormatu district to Kirkuk province due to the absence of the local government of Salah il-Din to protect the citizens of the district.”

Yawar stated in a press statement received by IraqiNews.com “The request of Kirkuk PC is illegitimate and an imposed deception,” noting that “This decision is preceded by pressurizing the citizens of Tuz Khormatu by the terrorist attacks to divide Salah il-Din province.”

“Nineveh, Anbar and Diyala provinces face the same situation,” he added, expressing his support to “The Arab members within Kirkuk PC who rejected this idea and any attempt to divide Iraq.”
