Davutoglu calls media outlets to avoid creating crises between Iraq, Turkey

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Turkish Foreign Minister, Ahmet Davutoglu, called the media outlets to avoid creating crises between Iraq and Turkey.

After returning from Ukraine, Davutoglu replied to a question raised by a journalist over setting a condition by Baghdad to hand over the Iraqi fugitive Vice President, Tariq al-Hashimi, to Iraq in order to allow the Turkish Energy Minister to participate in the Gas Conference in Erbil, Davutoglu denied these reports, requesting “The media outlets to avoid such groundless reports.”

He pointed out “Some sides attempt to create crises between Iraq and Turkey and do not like the progress of the mutual relations, assuring that Turkey will continue to develop its relations with Iraq and Kurdistan Region in particular.”
