Allawi: Today marks sad loss of Mandela who fought for freedom of people

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Ayad Allawi, head of the Iraqiya Slate mourned the death of the Nelson Mandela, former South African President.

Through his Facebook personal account, he said “Today marks the sad loss of a man who fought for the freedom of the people. Nelson Mandela, former South African President, formed a national unity government and won a Nobel Prize for advocating peace, equality and freedom.”

“May his legacy live on and his efforts continue to be an inspiration to all of us,” he concluded.
