Terrorists escape from security compound in Tikrit

Salah-il-Din (IraqiNews.com) A group of gunmen managed to help all the detainees at a security compound in Beiji district in Salah-il-Din province to escape on Monday.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com Monday “A group of gunmen attacked a security compound that comprises courts, prisons and a police station where senior Qaeda leaders are detained, among them sentenced to death prisoners, and helped them all to flee from the compound.”

Earlier, two suicide bombers have detonated their explosives on Monday morning at Beiji police station of northern Tikrit, killing five IPs and injuring four others, then two other suicide bombers took control on the station.
