Urgent – Suicide bombers control Police station northern Tikrit

Salah-il-Din (IraqiNews.com) Nine police elements were either killed or injured due to a suicide attack that targeted the police station of northern Tikrit city, the center of Salah-il-Din province on Monday morning.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com “Two suicide bombers detonated their explosives targeting the gate of a police station in Beiji district of northern Tikrit city on Monday morning,” noting that “The explosion resulted in killing five police elements and injuring four others.”

“Two other suicide bombers have controlled the police station after the explosion,” the source added, without giving further details.
