Najaf Airport flight volume expected to reach 85 flights per day

Najaf (IraqiNews.com) Najaf International Airport announced that it will attain a daily flight rate of 85 flights per day over the next few days.
A source in Najaf Airport reported to IraqiNews.com ”The number of air flights is predicted to reach 65 flights now and till next Friday the flights in excepted to increase to reach 85 flights.”
The former Deputy Najaf Governor, Abdul Hussein Abtan, which is currently MP at the Parliament of Citizen Block affiliate to the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, exerted extraordinary efforts to accomplish Najaf International Airport since it considered one of the biggest strategic projects with great economic returns especially for Najaf province due to its historical position.
