Iraq-US friendship targeted by political parties says State of Law Coalition MP Ali al-Shalah

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Ali al-Shalah, of the State of Law Coalition accused some political sides of targeting the friendship between Iraq and the United States.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “There is a coordination with the US because it had a role in toppling the former regime that makes it a friend of Iraq.”

“There are some political sides that attempt to weaken the friendship between the two countries especially after conducting the armament deal with Russia where they assume that there is a problem between the two countries, but the visit of the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, to Washington proved that they have good relations and can settle all the disputes,” he concluded.
