Security Operation in Western Iraq involves joint borders with Jordan, Syria

Anbar (IraqiNews.com) A security source confirmed that the current security operation in western part of Iraq involves the joint borders of Iraq with Syria and Jordan.

The source stated to IraqiNews.com “The security operation which is supervised directly by the Assistant Chief of Staff, General Aboud Ganbar and General Ali Ghaidan in addition to Commander of Anbar Police Forces, Hadi Rzaij, continued today, Sunday.”

“The operation is conducted by the Iraqi Army 1st and 7th Division in addition to the Air force support,” the source concluded.
