Deputy PM meets with National Police Command

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Deputy Prime Minister Rafie al-Issawi on Monday met with the commanders of the National Police and the Interior Ministry’s Operations room, in addition to several officers and high-ranking officials. “The meeting tackled security preparations in light of the current changes on the political scene and the readiness of Iraqi forces to take over security tasks from the Multi-National Force (MNF),” according to a statement released by Issawi’s media office and received by IraqiNews.com news agency.
