5 armed group members captured in Touz

SALAH AL-DIN / IraqiNews.com: Policemen captured five gunmen members of the Ansar al-Sunna group in the district of Touz Khormato on Friday, a security source in the district said. “The detainees, who were arrested in al-Askar neighborhood, Touz Khormato, (100 km) east of Tikrit, are suspected of involvement in armed operations in the area,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The five men are remanded in custody pending investigations to know more details,” he added.
