Zubaidi denies supervising security operation

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Head of the Citizen Bloc, Baqer Jabir al-Zubaidi, denied being tasked to supervise the security operation of chasing the elements of Islamic State of Iraq and Sham in the desert of Anbar province by the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki.Some media outlets reported that ”Maliki tasked Zubaidi of supervising the security operation related to chasing the elements of Islamic State of Iraq and Sham at the desert of Anbar province.”Zubadi’s media office reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The Head of the Citizen Bloc commits and believes in all items of Iraqi Constitution which emphasize to separate among authorities.””Since Zubaidi works within the Legislative Authority he can not supervise any military operations because such tasks within the Executive Authority,” the statement concluded. \END\
