Iraq achieves 2nd position in Qatar Weightlifting Cup

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Central Union for Weightlifting described the participation of the Iraqi delegation in the first season of Qatar International Cup as ”Excellent”.

The Head of Iraqi Weightlifting Union, Salih Mohamed Kadhim, reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The achievement of the Iraqi weightlifter, Huda Salim, who scored the second position in the championship reflected that Iraq represents a real challenge on the Arab arena.”

Qatar hosted the first season of Qatar International Weightlifting Cup with the participation of Iraq, Tunis, Egypt, Maghrib, Algeria, Libya, Sudan, and Jordan.
