Anti-Terrorism Dept. denies releasing Alwani

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Anti-Terrorism Department denied releasing detained MP, Ahmed al-Alwani, on Sunday.

Earlier, some media outlets mentioned that Alwani was released today while Anbar Governor denied these reports.

Media Advisor for Anti-Terrorism Department stated to IraqiNews.com “MP, Alwani is detained in Baghdad and these reports are groundless.”

“He is still under investigations,” he concluded.
