Najaf track – field camp canceled

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Central Federation for Track and Field decided to cancel the training camp for the country’s juniors team that was supposed to be held this week in Najaf, for financial reasons, said the Federation’s secretary general. “The training camp was supposed to be held in Najaf from Feb. 21 to Feb. 28,” Hussein Jabbir told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The program was aimed at preparing the team for the Asian tournament, and was canceled as the Federation’s budget has not yet been transferred,” he added.
