500 donums for sports village in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Mosul city’s municipality allocated a plot of land of 500 donums to build a new sports village in Ninewa, the province’s sports & youths director said on Thursday. “The village will be similar to that of Basra province,” Raid al-Obaidi told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The village location would be near Mosul,” he said, pointing out that the village design is ready and is in line with Olympic standards. One Iraqi donum equals 2,500 square meters. Mosul, the capital city of Ninewa province, lies 405 km north of Baghdad. MH (P)/AmR 1
