Urgent – Iraqi Army controls 80% of Anbar

Anbar, Ramadi (IraqiNews.com) The Provincial Council of Anbar province declared it controlled about 80% of the province through its security forces.

An informed source within Anbar PC reported to IraqiNews.com ”The security forces succeeded in imposing their control of 80% of Anbar province which was totally controlled by the armed groups.”

The armed groups controlled many areas of Anbar province and burned four police stations after the withdrawal of the Iraqi Army forces, the Governor of Anbar province, Ahmed Khalif al-Duliami and the people demanded the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, to resend the Iraqi Army forces.
