IS MP: Arresting Alwani, storming demonstrations yards distort image of military operations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Wisal Salim, of the Iraqiya Slate stated that arresting MP, Ahmed al-Alwani, and storming the demonstrations yards resulted in distorting the image of the military operations against the Islamic State in Iraq and Levant.

Speaking to IraqiNews.com, she said “The Iraqi Army must not be involved in a war in the cities of Anbar province and to leave the security forces hold the responsibility to fight the terrorist groups,” noting that “The IA has many wise and qualified figures.”

“The bombings and assassinations are executed in Iraq a long time ago and this raises a question over fighting al-Qaeda before the elections time,” she added, assuring that “Arresting Alwani and storming into the demonstrations yards and arresting Alwani distorted the image of the military operations against the ISIL elements.”
