Arab Parliament SG meets with Iraqi Mission to Arab League

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Secretary General of the Arab Parliament, Mr. Abdul Nasser Ginahi, visited the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Iraq, Ambassador Qais al-Azzawi.

A statement by Ministry of Foreign Affairs received by IraqiNews.com cited “During the meeting, they discussed ways of cooperation, means to contribute to the awareness of the Arab Parliament and its oversight role and service of joint Arab action.”

“He stressed the importance of the Parliament to take role in the implementation of the decisions of the Baghdad summit and ways of activating the statute of the Arab Parliament for 2013,” the statement concluded.
