IED explodes in northern Babel

Babel (IraqiNews.com) A police officer was injured in northern Babel on Sunday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The IED went off targeting a police checkpoint at the entrance of Jurf al-Sakhar district, injuring an officer.”

“A security force cordoned the explosion area and transported the injured to the hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.
