Hakim stresses necessity of allocating oil revenues to Basra

.A statement by the media office of the SIIC received by Iraqi News “Hakim met Basra Governor, Majid al-Nasrawi at his office in Baghdad,” noting that “They discussed the services situation in Basra province where Hakim was briefed about the updates of the efforts exerted by the Local Government of Basra to upgrade the situation in Basra through services projects.”

“Hakim stressed the importance of granting wider authorities for the provinces and to allocate oil revenues for the provinces that produce oil,” the statement concluded.
