Concrete blocks surrounding security buildings removed in Kut

WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: An Iraqi police force on Thursday removed concrete blocks that have been surrounding security buildings in Wassit since 2003, said the province’s media director . “The police force, supported by vehicles of Wassit municipality, has started the process today,” Majid al-Itabi told IraqiNews.com news agency . “The step was upon an order by the Wassit provincial security committee, taken thanks to security improvement in the province,” he said . ” The decision also aimed at reducing traffic jams in Kut and to make the city look better,” he added .
