Shahristani, Iranian Co. discuss equipping Iraq with ships

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Deputy Premier for Energy Affairs, Hussein al-Shahristani, hosted the director of the Iranian ships industry company, Hamid Rzyan Asi, and his accompanying delegation at his office in Baghdad on Tuesday.Shahristani’s media office reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”During the meeting, which was attended by the Iraqi Minister of Transportation Hadi al-Ameri, the director of the Iranian company offered a detailed explanation over the activities of the company where he expressed his desire to equip Iraq with various ships and boats to be used in the maritime transportation field.””Shahristani called the director of the Iranian company to participate in all the tenders that are being announced by the Ministry of Transportation to obtain the projects,” the statement concluded. \END\
