Urgent – Anbar tribal chieftans & government officials meet over Fallujah security crisis

Anbar, Ramadi (IraqiNews.com) Anbar Government officials and Fallujah tribal chieftains held an urgent meeting regarding Fallujah security crisis.

The Deputy Chairman of Anbar Provincial Council, Falih al-Issawi, reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The local government held a meeting with the elders and chieftains of Fallujah to grant them the last opportunity before storming the city by the security forces.”

The tribes of Fallujah suggested a new plan to avoid any more clashes that stipulates to withdraw all the gunmen and the city within one month provided that they can withdraw in peace so the police forces and the local security forces take control on the city.

The terrorists of al-Qaeda organization and the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria started to appear in public in the city to express their refusal to Fallujah tribes gesture.
