Urgent – Iraq-Japan match ends (1-0)

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The match between the Iraqi Football Match U22 and its Japanese counterpart has ended (1-0) within the Asian Cup U22 held in Oman.

The Iraqi forward Amjed Kalaf scored the goal for the Iraqi team at the 87th minute of the match.

The first half witnessed several serious attacks from the Iraqi team towards the Japanese goal, but they were not crowned with a goal. The Iraqi team dominated most of the time of the first half, but the Japanese team was active during the last minutes of the first half.

This victory led the Iraqi team for the semi-final stage of the AFC U22 held currently in the Omani Capital, Muscat.
