MP criticizes granting 1 Petro-dollar instead of 5

Bagdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Iqbal al-Ghurabi, of the Regions and Provinces Parliamentary Committee accused the Iraqi Government of tending for granting the provinces that produce oil a $1 instead of $5.The Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki doubted that provinces will managed to spend the oil allocations funds within his weekly speech on Wednesday saying that ”The funds are stacked at the provinces and they are not spending any thus their right in the 4% law is exist and they will receive it when they earn it by spending their funds in the reconstitution and developing their provinces.”Ghurabi reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The $5 Law is law voted for by the Parliament and just a suggestion as the Government claims and it is unconstitutional to grant just one dollar instead of five.” \END\
