MP expects parliament session to be held on next Tuesday

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Intisar al-Jobouri, of the Iraqiya Slate expected the next parliament session to be held on next Tuesday.

Speaking to IraqiNews.com, she said “The parliament Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, is in Washington now and his visit did not delay holding the sessions,” noting that “Nijaifi’s deputies are in Iraq and they are authorized to chair the session.”

She attributed the delay in endorsing the general budget to “The lack of deal between Kurdistan Region and the Federal Government.”
