Yazidi MP requests conversion of Sinjar district into a province

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Amin Jijo, of the Yazidi Community requested the Council of Ministers to convert Sinjar district into a province.

He stated in a press conference on Thursday “I requested the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers to make Sinjar district  a province as the other districts that were transferred into provinces.”

“The decision of the Council of Ministersover this issue is brave and brings justice to the Iraqi communities,” he concluded.
