Aid for Syrian refugees discussed by Barzani, German Deputy Speaker

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Prime Minister of Kurdistan Regional Government, Nechirvan Barzani, and the Deputy Speaker of German Parliament discussed aid presented for Syrian refugees and bilateral relations.

A statement by Kurdistan Region received by IraqiNews.com cited “The German visitor assured that she aims to be acquainted with the conditions of the Refugees and the means to present humanitarian aids for them to improve their conditions.”

“She praised the role of Kurdistan Region in sheltering and helping the Syrian refugees,” the statement added.

“Both sides discussed the Syrian situation and its consequences on the neighboring countries and stressed the necessity of finding peaceful solutions for the Syrian crisis,” the statement concluded.
