Police foil oil smuggling attempt in Babel

Babel, Hilla (IraqiNews.com) Babel police forces declared seizing a tanker loaded with smuggled oil derivatives on Monday.The Commander of Babel police directorate, Brigadier Abass Abd Zain Shamran, declared in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The police forces managed to foil a smuggling operation where the forces seized (17) tankers loaded with the oil derivatives and arrested seven persons involved within the smuggling operation in Jibla area of northern Babel.””The detainees were transported to Babel investigation office to discover the oil locations which they rob,” the statement concluded.
