IBA issues penalties against players of Dohuk, Zakho clubs

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The competitions committee of the Iraqi Basketball Association issued administrative penalties against players of Dohuk and Zakho sports clubs due to their indecent behavior during their match within the Iraqi basketball premier League.The media coordinator of the Basketball Association, Ahsan al-Marsomi, reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The association discussed the events that occurred after the match between Dohuk and Zakho teams and decided to direct a final warning to several players of both teams due to their indecent behavior which almost caused riots in the stadium.””The association will conduct harder penalties if the players repeated such behaviors and it will prevent them from playing with their clubs anymore,” the statement concluded. \END\
