Sadrist MP: Some politicians agitate sectarianism to achieve interests

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Muqdad al-Shirifi, of al-Ahrar bloc within the Sadr Trend stated that some politicians agitate sectarianism to achieve interests.

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, he said “Iraq is witnessing the same situations and the Ministries of Interior and Defense are penetrated by the corrupted officials and Ba’athiests who send the information to the terrorists.”

He criticized “The statements of the politicians that aim at agitating sectarianism,” noting that “Those politicians work on agitating sectarianism for the electoral propaganda and achieving the interests.”
