MoI assures seizing 2 car bombs near Basra, Basra Police Command denies

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Interior assured seizing two car bombs near Basra province, whereas the Police Commander of Basra province, Faiysal al-Ebadi, denied this issue.

The spokesperson of the MoI, Saad Maan, stated in a press statement “The security forces arrested two suicide bombers with two car bombs near Basra and they confessed of their intention to detonate them in the safe area to reduce the military pressure against the terrorists in Fallujah.”

“The efforts of the citizens contributed in seizing these two car bombs and bombers,” he concluded.

Earlier, Basra Police Commander Ebadi stated to the reporter of Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The reports over seizing two car bombs in Basra are groundless.”
