2 special groups’ commanders arrested in Hilla

BABEL / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi security forces arrested two special groups’ commanders in Hilla, said a security source from Babel province. “The arrests took place during a raid operation that targeted the commanders’ two houses in Al-Askari neighborhood, central Hilla,” Major Majid Al-Imara told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The commanders are wanted by security forces according to Article-4 terror,” he said. He pointed out that the operation was based on intelligence tip-offs. The ‘special groups’ is a term used by the U.S. army in Iraq to refer to armed groups funded and trained by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards.
