3 ‘Special Groups’ members arrested in Hilla
BABEL / IraqiNews.com: Three ‘Special Groups’ members on Monday were arrested in Babel’s Hilla city, according to a police commander. “The arrests were made during raids on three houses in central Hilla city,” Maj. Majid al-Imara told IraqiNews.com news agency. The ’Special Groups’ is a term used by the U.S. army in Iraq to refer to armed groups funded and trained by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards. Hilla, the capital city of Babel province, lies 100 km south of Baghdad. SS (P) 1
