Intelligence officer killed eastern Tikrit

Salah-il-Din (IraqiNews.com) Seven persons, among them an intelligence officer, were either killed or injured due to explosion of an Adhesive Explosive Device attached to a vehicle in Tuz Khurmato district of eastern Tikrit.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com An AED attached to vehicle belongs to an Intelligence Officer, exploded while he was driving through Jumhuriya area of central Tuz Khurmato district of eastern Tikrit, killing him and his driver immediately and injuring five civilians at the explosion site.”

“Security forces cordoned off the explosion area and transported the dead bodies to the morgue and the injuries to the hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.
