12 wanted men, suspects captured in Baghdad

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A total of 12 wanted men and suspects have been arrested in different parts of the Iraqi capital throughout the past 24 hours, according to an official security source. “Three wanted persons were arrested in al-Karkh side and eight others, including three suspects, in al-Rasafa, in addition to one wanted man in Baghdad’s suburbs,” Maj. Gen. Qassem Ata told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Fourteen improvised explosive devices (IEDs) were defused during the operation and one hostage was released,” he added. SS (P) 1
