Mutahidon rules out possibility of postponing parliamentary elections

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Mohamed Iqbal, of Mutahidon Coalition ruled out the possibility of postponing the upcoming elections of 2014.

He stated to IraqiNews.com “Reports over the possibility of postponing the elections is ruled out,” noting that “Reports over granting third term for the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki is too early because such issue need talks and dialogues among the various political blocs.”

“Promoting such issue is an electoral propaganda to attract voters,” he remarked.

“The sides of the National Alliance are the authority that will settle the issue of the third term to be granted for Maliki,” he concluded.
