Zebari meets with Iranian Ambassador to Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Foreign Ministry, Hoshyar Zebari, discussed with the Iranian Ambassador to Iraq, Hassan Danie, the mutual relations.

A statement by the Foreign Ministry received by IraqiNews.com “During the meeting, the two sides discussed the agenda of the upcoming visit of Minister Zebari to Tehran and the issues due to be discussed, first of which the bilateral relations and the land, rivers, and Shatt Al Arab borders demarcation.”

“The Minister stressed that the visit is an important step on the way to enhance bilateral relations for the interest of the two countries’ peoples,” the statement added.

“Present at the meeting were Undersecretary for Bilateral Relations, Vice-Chairman of the consultative committee, Head of the Neighboring Countries Department, and the Minister’s Office Manager,” the statement concluded.
