Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The committee responsible for organizing Western Asia Athletics Championship decided to postpone holding the championship, which was scheduled to be held in Keshan Island in Iran next April, till further notice due to technical reasons.The Head of the Iraqi Mission for Western Asia Championship, Munther al-Waith, mentioned to IraqiNews.com ”The committee sent a formal letter to the Iraqi National Olympic Committee that stipulates postponing the championship till further notice.””The committee attributed postponing the championship to the lack of participants in the championship which will weaken the level of competitions,” he concluded.
