Zebari, Larijani discuss mutual relations [02/27/2014]

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hoshyar Zebari, met on the Chairman of the Shura Council in the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ali Larijani.

A statement by the Foreign Ministry received by IraqiNews.com cited “During the meeting they discussed ways to develop bilateral relations, parliamentary cooperation between the two countries and activating the work of the joint committees to settle all the problems that obstruct the development of these relations, stressing the depth of the historic relations between the two countries and the common bonds between the two brotherly peoples.”

“Foreign Minister reviewed the big challenges facing the Iraqi government in its fight against terrorism, calling on the world to stand with Iraq in this challenge. They also exchanged views on the important issues on the international and regional arena, including the Syrian crisis and Iran’s nuclear dossier,” the statement concluded.
