Chieftains of Babel sign document of honor

Babel, Hilla (IraqiNews.com) The chieftains and elders of Babel province signed a document of honor to reject sectarianism and urge the people to participate in the upcoming parliamentary elections.The Director of Tribes Affairs Committee within the Ministry of Interior, Lieutenant General Marid Abdul Hassan, declared in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”Most of the chieftains of Babel province signed the honor document to combat any foreign side that attempts to arouse sectarian sedition among the residents of the province since this particular duration requires a united stance from all the society components to preserve the unity of Iraq.””The Secretary General of the Ministry of Interior, Adnan al-Asadi, instructed me to visit all the chieftains in the Iraqi provinces to meet their needs and to solve any pending issues in addition to get acquainted with the security situation in their areas,” the statement concluded. \END\
