2 missiles seized in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Policemen on Sunday seized two surface-to-surface missiles and munitions in eastern Basra province and arrested 14 wanted persons on “terrorist and criminal” charges in a security campaign in different areas of the city, Basra’s police information office said. “Two surface-to-surface missiles and several hand-grenades were seized in the area of Nahr Jassem, eastern Basra,” the office told IraqiNews.com news agency. “In search raids in different areas of Basra, security forces arrested 14 persons wanted on charges of involvement in terrorist and criminal cases,” the office said. “12 unlicensed vehicles and four unlicensed motorbikes were also seized in the raid,” it added.
