Urgent – Police Intelligence officer assassinated in eastern Mosul

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) Unidentified gunmen assassinated a senior officer within Nineveh Police Intelligence Department on Sunday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The gunmen stopped the car of the Colonel, Salim Hasan Mari, near al-Salam al-Sharqi hospital and started shooting, injuring him,” noting that “When he was transferred to the hospital for treatment, he passed away.”
