73 persons arrested in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Police forces on Tuesday arrested 27 wanted men and 46 suspected gunmen during a security raid in Basra, the Basra police media office said. “Police forces waged a wide-scale security operation in separate areas of Basra, where they arrested 27 wanted men and 46 suspected gunmen,” the office told IraqiNews.com news agency. “An anti-bomb squad defused two bombs in al-Maaqal region in northern Basra,” it added.
