New Police Commander appointed in Babel [03/10/2014]

Babel, Hilla (IraqiNews.com) The Governor of Babel province, Sadeq Madlol al-Sultani, declared dismissing the Police Commander, Lieutenant General Abass Abid Zayid and appointing Riyadh al-Khekani, instead of him.Sultani reported to the correspondent of IraqiNews.com ”The office of the Commanding General of Armed Forces, Nouri al-Maliki, issued a decree that stipulates dismissing the Police Commander of Babel province and to appoint Khekani, the Commander of the Intelligence Directorate instead of him.”Babel province suffered (17) blasts within two months which resulted in killing and wounding many innocent people. \END\
