Kurdish MPs to boycott sessions of Parliament

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Mahmoud Othman, of the Kurdistani Alliance declared that the Kurdish MPs will not attend the Parliament session unless the 2014 State Budget is amended.Othman reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The meeting, which was held on Saturday between Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani and Kurdish MPs, resulted in reaching a decision to boycotting the sessions of the Iraqi Parliament unless reaching an agreement between the Federal Government and Kurdistan Regional Government related to the State Budget.””The Kurdish MPs will travel to Baghdad on Sunday to determine whether to attend the sessions of the Parliament or boycotting them in accordance with conditions and situations,” he concluded. \END\
