8 Persons killed, wounded southern Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Eight persons were killed or wounded when a car bomb exploded to the south of Baghdad.The official spokesperson of the Ministry of Interior, Brigadier Saad Maan, declared in a statement received by IraqiNews.com “The suicide bomber detonated the car bomb targeting the security checkpoint at the southern entrance of Baghdad which resulted in killing a civilian and wounding seven others.”A series of blasts by car bomb took place in Baghdad, Karbala, Wasit and Babel provinces. \END\
