Colonel assassinated southern Mosul [03/19/2014]

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) Unidentified gunmen assassinated a Colonel within the Federal Police of southern Mosul.

Security source stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Unidentified gunmen opened fire against Abood Dawood, a Colonel within the Federal Police near a mosque in the early morning in Houd village of Qayara district of southern Mosul.”

“The Colonel was in a vacation and was assassinated after performing his prayer,” the source concluded.
